Particle Mod Tool

Hello,
Since GGG doesn't want / care / have the will / have the time to put an option to make the game playable in party higher than 2, i want to use a 3'rd party program to cancel the particle effects to get decent FPS.
Frustration from FPS spikes made me look for alternatives. I saw people from the community using it and i want to give it try.

I'm not a hacker and i have no intention of cheating in any way. I just want to hear an official opinion regarding this subject.

I just want to enjoy the game in my own way and i don't want to loose my account just for trying to have a decent gameplay.

I have top of the line PC with 2500+ Eur invested in it, and it's not enough in a 6 player party with everything on minimum....

my 800 $ computer run perfectly fine with full party and max gfx. So before using forbidden 3rd party program you should have a look on what is going wrong with your hardware.

You could be right, but i've tried everything that i know to fix it. I get kicked out of parties because of my build. It seems that other people have the same hardware issues as me. We should make maps together.
I use Ice shot+GMP+Chain+FA and 6 frenzy bubbles

switch frost with split arrow. It might do less dmg but it makes the game better playable.

This is not allowed. i already contacted Chris about doing this myself and make them for the community, modding the client is not allowed in any way

This is what i try to avoid. I want to play my own build, not the "safe FPS" build. If the game can't stand this build, then take it out.Take the skills out. Don't advertise build diversity and then limit the options based on game problems. ( I have very few desync problems, but some guys with specific builds prone to desync will know what i mean... )

Then I'm fu$#ed. Upon release this issues must be addressed in one way or another. I love this game too much to rage quit it, but i see the community beginning to get frustrated.
The game overall has a lot of ups, but the downs start to affect the overall enjoyment.

one. I can use frost arrow without any problems. So its not the skill and IMO partially a problem with the game.

two. ranged char rarely have a desync problem. try melee go stand in a door opening while wacking monsters. you see what desync realy is.

three. if youre pc is 2500+ eur. You should look for problems with your drivers/OS.
my pc is very high end and costed me 1500+ euro and I have zero FPS issus with this game. I can play in party that have spider sporkers / dominating blow / minions and still have no FPS drop.

So try downloading the latest drivers for all your hardware/ update your bios to latest firmware / update your OS / with 2500+ i assume you have atleast one SSD install the game on the SSD if not already. See if your SSD has an firmware update available. (make sure to bacup all data first)
if you have tried all that then come back and tell how the game runs then.

My PC is optimized for gamming. All drivers/Firmware/bios are up to date. I can play any game maxed out with no problems.

2 SLI GTX 680
16 GB ddr 3
SATA III - Gigabyte MB

I can play with high options and i never get a drop below 25 FPS.
The problems appear only when I have a pt +3 ppl with a lot of ice skill spams(+ ice based totems). Lightning/fire doesn't affect my FPS

Probably, you Video Card just doesnt have enough memory to store all that shitty particle effects, that litter screen. I think, it doesnt really matter, whether you use high-end Video card or not, GGG anyway dont use its GPU benefits.

And changing skills will have little effect, because that doesnt mean that other players will change their skills too.

As far as i know, particle effects are almost unfeected by currenct Graphics Settings. That is ABSOLUTELY wrong! An option to reduce particle effects density/quality would help a lot!

BTW, GGG, the main reason why i dont buy your microtracsaction skill/weapon/helmet effect is that all of them GREATLY DECREASE FPS!

Dont make the same error as D3 did. Give players and option to reduce lags in party. Save party play (which is completely broken ATM).

So many bad decisions from GGG...
