Particle Mod Tool
The OP is correct about (high attack speed) GMP Chain Ice Shot being unplayable in parties, whenever I have seen it, everyone lagged and quit the party or the player got kicked.
It's something GGG needs to fix, I don't think your Computer is at fault, as mine is pretty good too and the said skill is basically the only thing making the game run like shit. Last edited by TheError#6547 on Sep 27, 2013, 6:27:57 AM

" Totally agree, I have a 630 GT card and it performs the same as my friends 680 GTX, which is ridiculous. Particle effects are a huge problem in this game, and that is the reason why I have NEVER played in a party of 3+ people. And I mean NEVER. Also, like 70% of people I know who like to play in party, use particle effect thingy that reduces the amount of those and even makes them non-existant. I might think - well, they are hackers and what not, but in reality, they have no other choice. I think, until they make the game playable in a full party, they should allow to use that particle tool, otherwise they are screwed. If they did allow it, I would maybe start playing this game again, because I got damn bored after playing 2,5 years solo. There's plenty of options that aren't 'illegal' or TOS breakers.
Look for any type of specialized rebuilt drivers that simply increase performance, its just a driver like anyone uses. Stuff like rivatuner (no longer supported, but plenty like it out there) that unlock in-depth changes that normal nvidia or amd control panels don't have listed. Also stuff like Swiftshader, lots of options really that are perfectly fine, just be prepared to experiment. I'm the Ps guy: Psomm, Pso, Psong, pso-on and pso-phorth. Try disabling SLI. See what that does for you.

" Since when the CPU after a certain limit matters in gaming? ( i'll put you in troll category, the other option is....uninformed) PS This is my CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 975 Black Edition. Please instruct me witch CPU i should get to improve my gaming performance ? This is the Internet and we have a saying, women are men, men are men and the little girls are FBI agents. " Poe is heavily cpu limited due to not being able to take full advantage of multiple cores, as well as not being fully optimized. http://anandtech.com/bench/product/435?vs=837 Starting at 2500k and subsequent generations produce at minimum around 1.3 more performance with being able to reach at minimum 4.0 ghz as well as more performance per clock. |

i dont get it why would someone make a game that fucks itself?
i really want to play PoE but not as a damn slideshow it becomes really frustrating to have a game that you would like to play so much but cant because of extremely stupid issues like turning slideshow in any 3+ party |
