If Spectral is not affected by melee damage nor spell damage...

Should it work with atk spd or cast speed?

attack speed of course, it's an ranged projectile attack.

The words right below the name if a skill gem specify what kind of ability it is.

Spectral Throw is an attack and a projectile.

So things that modify attacks and projectiles modify spectral throw.

This includes projectile damage and attack speed, among other things.

It doesnt work with melee damage, but does work with melee weapon damage since it uses your melee weapon for the projectile damage.

I Mean, if u get a node like 24% buff to your melee damage weapon, the spectral thrown will also scale?

Spectral Throw will benefit from the following:

Attack Speed, Projectile Speed, Projectile Damage, Weapon Specific Damage, Weapon Elemental Damage.

This means things like Iron Grip and Point Blank will affect the skill.

So what about this : I got iron grip. Will melee physical damage node (the ones at scion start) will affect spectral throw ? Because those nodes should add a lot more damage than the projectile damage nodes (15% vs 8%)

So basically, if I have iron grip, will this melee physical damage will work or will I waste 1 point.

if the passive nodes says "melee" then it does not work. But "increased physical dmg with axes" does work.

Just think of your Weapon as a Bow. If you actually had a bow "increased physical dmg with bows" would work, but not "melee physical dmg". With Spectral throw it's the same, just with and Axe, Sword or whatever instead of "bow"

What about "Increased Physical Damage with Melee Weapons"?

I understand all others, but this one is just a bit too ambiguous in my opinion. It says "Physical Damage" not "Melee Damage" but it still says "Melee" in it at the end.
