I actually dislike Conc Effect. Fire Pen should be in your 4L anyway, so the 5th link should be increased aoe or burning damage. Yes, conc effect gives you a huge damage boost, but it makes you extremely vulnerable to reflect. Plus, I've never had damage issues, even without conc effect.

Well, the guy I gave that answer to complained about his damage so it's the best choice for him.

Still a bit confused about EE/ Ignited. Doesn't every second they are on fire count as fire damage and thus give them a constant 25% resistance to fire while burning? Or does it work differently than this? Like only the initial ignite will trigger EE?

What are your strategies for Dominus second form?

Only the initial hit will procc EE.

So the explosion triggers EE as fire dmg, then you shoot Split Arrow again and that should be fixed ;)



Have you ever considered instead of Conc Effect using Empower as 6th link?
Heard it on a stream yesterday, doesn't sound too bad actually.

still lacking another lvl on "empower" and 2 lvls on explosive arrow to get a full feelin for it
but so far i like it
its a good dps increase w/o sacrificing aoe radius

I think conc effect is much stronger than empower tbh. And the reduced AoE is not even that bad. You still hit everything with Proliferation. And increased AoE also means a bigger chance to rip on a big reflect pack.

really good guide, but i ve got 1 problem vs rare mobs / bosses. If they are not staying in a group i loose more life than i can reg with my split arrow, if they are standing in a group its no problem coz they die instant and i can reg extremly fast. Would do i wrong?

EA - Fire Pen - Conc Effect - Ele Prolif - Chance to Ignite - (Increased Burning Damage)

Go for the Burning damage nodes and for Elemental Equilibrium, will help alot. You probably switched a bit early to EA. As soon as a rare/boss starts burning it should be dead very soon.

Burning will now scale with every damage modifier (Fire Damage, Projectile Damage) on Explosive arrow in addition to the usual scaling (usual: harder hits burn harder).

i think ur gonna die faster with conc effect than with empower
and if ur talking bout strongest setup isnt it empower + conc effect for chance to ignite?

in the end i heard several times that empower>conc effect some ppl did the math i think
but not sure
