1200 fusings, no 6 link

If we all just make a toon with "slurms" in the name, we'll all be luckier...pretty sure it was proven in CB lol

The list in the OP makes me sad. I have wasted ~200 fusings on a single 6s item in OB and didn't even get a 5l so far. I fully understand why 6l items are supposed to be super rare and prestigious but not even getting a 5l with a huge investment is really frustrating.

Going over 200 fusings and not getting a 5L is not uncommon. I went over 600 fusings before getting 5L on my last chest in closed beta.

If the mods on the item justify the potential cost and effort then just keep going with it. If the effort and cost in fusings is doubtful then save them till you find something better to craft.

Yes, that is the point. Just learned this today after spending 250ish crhomes on my chest, i went paranoid and picked a lvl 72 chest for craft

Spent almost all my currency in few mins to not get even a 6S, amazing.

I wish i had tryed that kind of things in CB lol

damm this is a crazy thread

fusions should be one of the cheapest orbs in the game ..bottom line

they are not even close to being worth half a chaos but whatever, thats my opinion i guess

Rarity in this game is magically crafted.
I really like it. It's what gives value to things. 6L should be hard to get, I guess. A possible solution to the issue in hand could be incresing SLIGHTLY the drop rate of fusings so there is more out there and isn't 1:1 with alchs.

I wonder if this is an argument to have entropy system built into orbs

Honestly find this system extremely off putting for anyone who would like to play a cool char and has a job and a family. I can't grind grind grind grind 7 hours a day 7 days a week to farm so many fusings.

I don't even understand why sockets are so extremely rare, i need them to make cool effects with my skill gems.

Idk? Like BloodMagic, LifeOnHit, PointBlank, AttackSpeed, Knockback, RainOfArrows

Run in as ranger and face tank mobs close range.

I understand why a more power full item is rarer and the closer you get to perfect the rarer stuff becomes. The good thing about this was that (for example) in D2 small pwoer upgrades where extremely expensive in endgame gear but, as i said, it was a small power upgrade.

In PoE the difference in power between a 4 link 5 link and 6 link is extreme.

I like the system more where the actuall pre/suffixes on items are rare/random , rolling a perfect caster amu with skills fastcast prisma resi health in D2 was insane and those things where crazy rare and expensive, but it wasn't such a huge deal to just have a amu with mediocre roles.
