The Purity / New Elemental Aura Changes

Why not have it so "Elements" can raise the max on all elems with either +1~2, while the specific element-aura can raise the max to +3~5 on that specific element?

you could claim that they 'fixed' a 'broken' gem for solo.... but please do explain how this got 'fixed' for group play....

GGG is trying to balance things for ALL Players equally.
This nerf on Purity affects manny people (including me), but i respect that they work the whole time for the players to make this game balanced for ALL!

If you want to cry go play Diablo 3, i think the last changes was few months or even a year ...

This change is completely driven at solo players not group players. end of story.

Actually the most idiotic posts in this thread are the claims that purity was broken or exploited.

Both just cases of clueless players sucking up to anything that the devs do.

I play a cyclone Facebreaker, a casual facebreaker doing 4.9k cyclone dmg.

running 3 Auras.
My resistances are 75/75/62.
I only use Purity on map bosses!

There are 2 Map bosses with high elemental dmg:
- shrine piety
- crematorium

With the new Aura i would get MORE +MaX Resistance! THAT IS A BUFF!
And again for shrine i ONLY NEED +light resistenace, crematorum ONLY +Fire resistance!


AND YES SOLO PLAY.
Why would i need all 3 new Purity auras at once??? NEVER!
So this changes to Purity is NO NERF TO SOLO PLAY!

well this change on purity doesn't affect nothing and i will say why:

now we can assume clarity aura it's 100% necesary for all characters at least at lvl 5
now you use at least 1 aura of 60%
now you spend a few points to get at least 15% - 20% in passive skill tree + mana reduce gem
actually in my charater whit:
-15% reduced nodes
-mana reduced gem
-using clarity lvl 5 + grace auras
-i have 100 mana for use to spells/skills and i spend 22 mana in a 3L (and have a regen of 23 mana second)

that means i can't use any of new purity gems if i don't spend more points in mana reduced or get more nodes of mana regeneration for quit clarity, now the problem is...

if you want use one purity + clarity + other aura:
-you will lose all dmg nodes trying to get more mana reduced nodes (they are only 5-6 in all tree very bad)
-also you will need lose some life nodes if you want get more mana reduced nodes.

conclusion:
-quit clarity aura and put more regen mana nodes or a better nodes of mana reduced for skills (now they are usefull only shit nodes)
-make all aura whit less % mana reserved.

if not..... the game will continue whit the same no one will use other auras than:

grace
warth
hatred
clarity

rest of auras you can quit of the game.
If you think clarity aura is 100% necessary for all players, then just stop sharing any of your opinions on game balance on this forum.
