Last night I was like f'it! Traded off all my exalted orbs for 30-35 fuses each.
Managed to 6L the chest armor with like 10 fuses to spare =D

Chest is for an ES flicker striker and staff for my Piety farmer.

I have dumped 30 exalted worth of fusing into a chest I am trying to 6L and no luck so far. Sure I would have been happy very happy if I got a 6L but I am not going to quit because I didn't. I now am just slowly dumping fusing into it as I accumulate them.

sell the lioneyes for the stupid amount of exalts youre going to get and buy a better rare bow for a fraction of that, then try again

The trick is not wanting it. Found a 6 socket yesterday that was 3 x 3 & I wanted a 4 x 2. 1 fusing later I was staring at a 6 link. It took me like 120+ chromatics to get the colors I wanted.

Your mistake was trying to use the crafting system in this game.
GGG didn't design it that way. You have to use the tradechat instead.
It's a common mistake with people to think this is a game rather than a investment of mind dulling labour and time.

You see, if you don't hate life while playing POE, you're not playing the game right. So if you ever feel like you're enjoying yourself while playing, you might get banned for game abuse. :)

But but but, how the flux get the traders every day new 6l?
i stopped with this sinkhole and i am just happy to get a 4L and play with that, still i really think this terrible sinkhole pushes weak ppl to paytowin and that seems to be the thing in every nice game, so get used to that.
The signs are here, coz the spamming from goldfarmers is terrible and you can report 'm, lol.
Still i play now, uncheck the chats, dont fuse above 4L and it works, still have to play 3 other classes and then i have played them all. (btw this account i only use in forums, coz i like that).
This game gives me the feeling there are not nuff hours in a day and that is what i like and at some point they will nerf the nerves.
