Got this with less than 50 fusings :)

Edit:
BTW, don't play anymore. This game's endgame is ridiculous and won't play again until it's fixed.
It's all fun and games until someone pokes your eye out!

That is the endgame, it won't ever change, just updated/fleshed out more. The pvp isn't meant to be an e-sport, e-sports are balanced. PoE PvP is meant to be unbalanced and fun, with op builds, just like D3 PvP was meant to be. Free-range PvP? Wait for Cutthroat Leagues.

I think Chris in one of his earlier videos, discussed a possible 6L vendor recipe. I could be wrong because it was such a long time ago...but it was something along the lines of:

2500Fusings + Desired Item = 6L.

Again, not sure if correct.

i dont like that idea, it would make fusings kind of useless other than to create a master fusing orb.

In other games - you get a cookie whether you win or lose. PoE not only takes your fuckin' cookie and eats it in front of you, it slaps you upside the fuckin head a few times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

Well, people would still use their fusing orbs to craft 4 links on their other gear. And hey, the number (2,500) has to be really high if it's guaranteed right? Or no one would ever opt to go the regular route.

You pay a premium price for a guarantee. You will most likely get your 6L in less than 2,500...but if you don't want to chance it, just spend the 2,500 to get it....or something like that. To each their own.
