People with insane amounts of Exalted Orbs

So yeah, in a neutral manner, I'm just curious about people who claim to have/have 120 Exalted Orbs. Is that even possible without visiting a currency selling website?

I've traded like crazy for 2 days and managed 3 Exalteds by giving it everything I got. I see folks advertising having over 100 Exalts and so on. Ofcourse, the basic principle of buying cheap and selling for more is everywhere, but 120 Exalteds, c'mon.

If you can turn 4 exalts into 5 exalts, you can have 120 exalts in about a month.

1. Get a lucky drop worth several exalts
2. Sell the drop
3. Use the currency you got for flipping
4. ?????
5. Profit!

It's possible, days I try I make 3-4 ex, it is however boring as watching paint dry and I only resort to it for very few things, some people however find it the most fun thing in the world and there's your 120 exalts.

people with just 100 exalts are the small fry and certainly achievable without rmt.

people with 500+ who crank out mirror items on a bi weekly rate? trololo ggg

In a way I hope I never get 120 Exalted Orbs, I bet I'd get bored in the game when I could just buy anything at any time.

Yeah, its not a problem to make 100+ Exalted.
Trade your 14 Regrets to 1 Ex

Trade your 1 Ex to 16 Regrets
..
In 14 trades you have extra 1 Ex - that's about ~ 1-2 hours.

Players who do it all day long will have 100's Ex no doubt.
Most players, including myself, spend time killing monsters.

120 ex is farrrrrrrrrr from being able to buy anything at any time, a mirror costs 150 exalts, just to get a shitty mirror copy of 1 bit of gear, how much do you think it would cost to buy that original item that is being mirrored? 400? 600? A friend of mine turned down 450 exalts for an armour he had, you cant get that chest, best you can do is get a mirror of it for 150, thats already your whole bank spent + another 30 large on top for 1 slot.

Check their post history, it should have at least some trading, as the biggest items sell for the most on the forums, not in game. Peoplw who are flipping should be using the forums. The fact is, there are tons of RMTers playing, especially after release I would imagine.

Now If you're talking about standard or HC, then yeah people have that much without RMT. People have a lot more on the permanent leagues, as they've been around a long time. Id be suspicious of people with that on the new leagues though if they don't have trading history or something.

I'll clarify, with "anything" I ment basically anything you need to farm the highest maps and so on, make your build complete and functional and effective. I guess a chest thats supposedly worth more than 450 Exalts isn't required for that. I'm a "if it gets the job done" -kind of guy. And I understand some are "must be 100% of 100%" -kind of guys, and it's fine.
