A couple of examples of how the economy is already getting screwed for the majority of players
If itsnot d2jsp it will be something else so stop crying about it. U will see gold site selling chaos and alchemy and exalted , divine soon enough. There's no way to do anything about it.Play your own game and league will actually fix your bragging right...or ego...or i wanna be the best attidude.

D2jsp will help more than it will hurt this game i really don't see what the issue is with this. Sure you can buy the fg with real money but trust me 95% of the users don't. Its an advanced tool for trading and much, much easier to deal with when looking for something very specific. D2jsp is what kept D2 alive for this long believe it or not. Use it if you want to or dont want to.

" Its a real problem, and its a hard to solve one as well, as theres no way to track who buys items from the site, and it could effectively demolish the economy. |

91 gcp in 1 week.. Holy shit man. I found 2 ex, 3 gcp, 3 divine just from mobs in 1 week with 5+ playing hours each day and i think im very lucky with the drops.
I think they should reduce the drop rates drastically because with this rate alchs, chaoses and fusings' values will decrease, and with tons of those you can make 6l item in no time and eventually everybody will be running in 6l gear with quality gems and such and became op . Im not using that multiboxing or d2jsp stuff but I already found 5l item with decent stats, found gmp, chain, mana leech and some other rares and I feel I pretty much completed half of the game. Imagine a multiboxing user can achieve. Hunting for rare gems and orbs should be an incentive for playing the game. Finding top gems and orbs shouldn't be too easy. |

Seems pretty simple to me:
GGG buys a small amount of currency on the forum, GGG bans whoever sends them in-game currency, and anybody that sent that person in-game currency. Repeat until real-world transactions are too expensive and too much work to maintain. IGN: Ikimashouka, Tsukiyattekudasai, DontCallMeMrFroyo

" Actually people rarely buy it for real money these days, it's more acquired by trading gear or currency for multiple games. As a concept it seems pretty harmless - stopped playing WoW or D3? I can at least get back some of the time investment spent to give myself a leg up somewhere else. The problem lies in it's impact on a fledgling economy such as this one and when people have the buying power to pay far far in excess of non users are completely priced out of the market. It won't just happen with top end items either, mid range ones will get inflated soon enough. |

I wonder if the purchaser would have done better to trade those 91gcp for insane quantities of chance & scouring orbs and tried to roll that weapon.
As to the quantities of currency involved..... You've got to wonder if there's an undisclosed dupe bug. Make Elite IV:Dangerous happen!

" Most games end up relating dups to game crashes, either accidentally or on purpose. Once GGG fixes the game crashes it should help. Fight censorship

" Those people in the posts are constantly trading, ect ect ect. I recognize the account names from past trades. If the trades were fair, well thats not my problem. People have been giving gcp/exalts for simple quest rewards, its really not that hard to stock up on currency. I even gave a gcp for a simple quest reward, because I needed it and was like "well fuck it why not". As for multiboxing. I myself ran a level 1 in merc in closed beta. Back then it didn't really increase your drop chance or exp gain. They already (I believe I read this somewhere) dropped the exp/drops/ect ect ect. Look it's as simple as this. There are people out there that don't like to group, multiboxing just raises up the difficulty of the map. Sure there's a little more loot, but its not that much of a difference. Also if you dc or crash, that other toon is there holding your map open. I remember when we had this disco fever bug and it would crash people constantly. My level one was a champ holding open my map that I worked my ass off to get and roll to good rolls. They already stated (again I'm pretty sure I read this a few times) that there will be a command that raises up the difficulty of the map for solo players. That should solve most of the multiboxing going on. My Kiwi's name is Fluffy.
