New player in need of some help with theorycrafting

Hey everyone :)
I just got into the game a couple of days ago and been having a blast so far. I didn't like the idea of copying someone else's build because I felt like that would take away all the fun for me, so I decided to make something on my own :D. I wanted to make an Assassin build revolving around dual wielding daggers and using Reave as my main damage spell while also aiming for crit and life leech. I also made a first draft of a passive skill tree that I wanted to use.

I would love to get some help in regards of what I should aim for and what right or wrong ideas I've had so far. Would you advise to use bleed and/or poison in a build like this ? Hey dude. I'm doing something similar. I don't recommend Hematophogy because with the lifesteel nodes along Vitality Void you will have enough lifesteal. Instead I recommend pathing up from there and getting Dervish and Bravery. Also the 2 block nodes up by Gemini are better placed for the block nodes near Ambidexterity. Also make sure you get the jewel nodes that only take two points to travel to. They are extremely efficient for two points. I recommend over 150% life on tree.
I recommend poison and bleed to some extent. But not enough to invest points into it. Instead, what I did is choose skill gems that would benefit my hit damage as well as my bleed and poison damage. My poison and bleed damage ends up making about 20% of my damage. I also went for Noxious Strike and Toxic Delivery for my ascendancy instead of Assassinate and Ambush. |
