Self_Temporal_Chain
Wretched Kaom self curse mechanism has emerged for some time but it's never gone popular due to profit/investment+restriction+drawback ratio When hitting enemy with the skill in Shackle of the Wretched, Temporal Chain on it is applied to enemy and yourself. The first effect "less Action Speed" is ignored when Kaom's Root is equipped, and the second effect "other effects expires 40% slower" extend buffs and debuffs multiplicatively, with a preset 40% reduced effect on players and increased curse effect from tree and gear This part is inspired by a recent advanced version of the mechanism https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2276369, getting 50% curse effectiveness at a time rather than picking up 5% here and there, and then Low Life 30% more spell damage along with larger potential drawback
Aegis_auto_ES
The previous "most incapable to die" tank build was basically dead after block chance apply to spell mechanism was cancelled in 3.4. However, the vicious balance team buffed Aegis Aurora's defence 2.5 times out of inexplicable reason in 3.5. And in fact with flasks and all possible passives, gear and ascendancy both block and spell block can reach near cap without Reckless Deadfangse In addition, Delve offered an efficient way to get Iron Reflexes that most effectively boost Armor, and Betrayal veiled mods turn this to be a positive synergy. 40K armor can be acquired with very few flat armor from gear Self Temp Chain makes important flasks easier to maintain without the need for Pathfinder, and Aegis returns to offer the best recovery mechanism, with a common requirement, the least used aura skill POB 2 examples Defensive (Winter Orb): https://pastebin.com/n39j14kS Offensive (Arc): https://pastebin.com/cYxKQdh9 Passives

Ascendancy
Hierophant is not the only choice. Templar, Witch and Shadow all can use the same skill tree with little to none change. Hierophant provides ES, easier mana issue, charge generation and 20% more damage from brands; Guardian can cap both block; Occultist gives more ES recovery and curse functions; and Elementalist, Assassin and Inquisitor are damage oriented Skills What's better, as opposed to MF builds, this build has free one handed weapon, helmet and 6 link, so any 6 link standalone spell can be used with specific enchantment for it, and any weapon from most defensive to most offensive can be used without too much adjustment Unchanged gem links Additional Notes Actually this build is just a cheeky stepping stone before you earn enough to afford this "EZ GG build" https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2170998 Last edited by Arthur606 on Jan 8, 2019, 2:23:26 AM Last bumped on Jan 15, 2019, 12:42:05 AM
