Divine ire ignite questions

I want to go the build of Raizq in the link below....

However this build is pretty straight forward Divine ire lightning dmg that gets converted to ignite using the stormfire ring....

But I feel in 3.8 it will be MUCH better to go crit builds….

But will it be good to go crit ignite?
If this question is answered with yes, could some1 point me in some directions regarding the skill tree? I assume the tree in the video will be totally different as he doesnt pick up any crit nodes?

Any suggestions are appreciated...
