I: Introduction

Hi there! I'm known as ArtCrusade online. I've been playing Path of Exile since Harbinger League and exclusively play SSF since Incursion. Thus, I've looked at the game with a different perspective for a good while and despite the heavy limitations, I've always made my own builds and often with skills you don't see used often. This will be my second (up to date) in-depth build guide, the other one being Essence Drain Beastmode, which is also quite popular.

The guide is still a WIP but I'll soon find the time to finish everything up, add graphics and some videos to showcase how the build functions.

II: Concept

Let's talk about Dominating Blow.



You attack with a melee strike which will apply a Debuff for a second. If a non-unique enemy dies while affected by it, the corpse will be consumed and spawn a Sentinel of Dominance of the same rarity. The base duration for the Sentinels is 20 seconds which can be enhanced with minion duration & skill effect duration.

You can have up to 9 Normal Sentinels. These are the bread & butter of the build and will deal most of your damage. You can have 3 Magic Sentinels which will have one pre- and a suffix and 1 Rare Sentinel which can have up to 6 mods. They'll often give you mods like attack & movement speed, bonus defensive stats or flatout ES and life regen.

The attack itself is rather weak and will not kill anything. For that reason we use 1 or 2 Writhing Jars.



On use you'll spawn 2 Enemy Writhing Worms which you can attack with Dominating Blow to instantly spawn 2 Normal Sentinels and 2 Sentinels of Purity. This guarantees that we can charge into the first group of enemies without too much windup and start clearing.

With all minions summoned, we're charging around with 19 minions. Most of the build is automated, so all we have to do is Shield Charge into packs and attack a few times. The build can easily reach 8,000 life and has naturally high life regen as well as permanent Onslaught.

The only unique gear that's really required is Writhing Jar. You can get away without Devouring Diadem and use Flesh & Stone + War Banner instead of Pride until you either buy one from trade or do Mastermind.

how to deal with high lv maps and boss bro?
damage Seem pretty low , and melee play style suck sometimes,

The main difference to a regular summoner is that you have some windup to deal actual damage. E.g. when you want to do Sirus or Shaper or Elder or any other boss that doesn't have minions around at the start you have to use 2 Writhing Jar casts + attack with Dominating Blow to get your Sentinels up and running but then you can just charge in basically. I have planned to record some more videos, hopefully that'll clear things up a little. :)

I just want to make sure that i can clear higher map abit easier, I hate 1 shot cause melee strike near boss or some bs spike bears
And buid pretty cheap too

It should be mentioned that the character in the video is level 82, doesn't have his uber lab and sub-optimal gear. With the mentioned Spectres as well as good jewels the difference is VERY notable. :) I'll still record some more videos, altho I'm having a go at ssf_hc right now

I'm keeping all my guides up to date and as soon as patch notes are out this will be ready for action. Don't see anything wrong with that as it's a wip
