Path of Exile's Monumentally Successful Closed Beta

Years of initial development finished, Path of Exile 1 entered its closed beta on August 10, 2011. Anxious but dedicated and innovative, the developers at Grinding Gear Games took the road less traveled and cranked out stellar content, nurtured an excellent community relationship, and discovered new, exciting ways to invigorate the ARPG genre and beyond.
