[MacOS] installation - how to change folder?

On MacOS game by default installing on internal Mac storage (Macintosh HD). How to change on another (for example SSD external drive)?

Is anyone playing POE on Mac?

In the description of tech support it says - write questions in the forum section. But here tech support ignores the answers. Superb!

What about direct installation from Pathofexile.com site? There is no choice destination folder.

If you want to install something on an external drive, instead of dragging it to Applications when asked to, open Finder and drag it to the external drive.

If you've already installed it on the internal drive, you can drag or copy the application to the external drive and delete the copy on the internal one, if it still exists.

This is a general MacOS thing, not specific to Path of Exile. Installing via Steam, and probably other launchers, is an exception.
