Cannot Direct Message in trade section

Hi, I'm a newer player, and am trying to trade for an item, however I cannot direct whisper. I'm getting a message that says "Invalid Query: Your account is unable to use this feature". I am logged into the same account, and do not seem to have any other issues than this.

Help!

I just got this problem cause i connected Steam to Poe 2 website account.

I fiddled with it for a moment and figured out a solution that allows me to trade again.

I hade to switch my account, on the poe 1 website toward the top of the website next to the header, swap it to the second account and you should be able to direct whisper now.
