PoE2 will be cross platform, what about PoE1??

It was a question from ZiggyD during the stream yesterday.

But it was answered super quickly and I missed it the first time I watched the stream.

So I was wondering does that mean PoE1 will also get cross platform as well? I'd personally love to be able to play/trade with PC players.

Holy shit, that's fantastic news. However, that bloke sure should have had a follow up of what kind of features will constitute this "cross platform". If they just mean "released on PS5 and Xbox", that's just what we have now.

Beginner player here and also on Xbox Series X.

I am pretty sure MTX will carry over across consoles, but I am hoping the following too:

- Cross platform trading (most crucial)
- Carry over of MTX across other platforms, like PC, if you already bought them on Xbox or PlayStation (secondary crucial)
- Cross progression save (secondary importance to me but it's nice to have)

I think if we have first one, I am ok to forego the other two. If not, the second option is a workaround once I got a PC.

Last one would suck if you can't transfer MTX.

I hope they make it crossplay but they refuse to say that PoE2 will be crossplay... In that sense PoE1 is already cross platform...
