Gem Crafting
As the number of skill and support gems, and their variants, continues to grow, it seems a logical step to expand this idea in the future: gem crafting. Coming up with your own spells, based on a certain "budget." Similar to the spell making in Morrowind and Oblivion.

I don't understand what are you talking about.
In 3.23 there is no gem crafting. You buy gem on the market or gamble their alternative in the lab. Nothing less, nothing more. |

" Sorry. I realized that my text could be misunderstood. I edited for clarity.
That feature was awesome, I was gutted when it wasn't in Skyrim.
Honestly, the more customization, the better. Even in D3 when you could change the look/feel/damage types of skills was epic e.g. turn a ray of frost into a ray of fire, or a flaming meteor into an ice comet etc
" When could you do that in D3? I'm not doubting you, but I've played every season of D3 since it had seasons, plus I played on release, quit, and came back when loot 2.0 was enabled, and I don't remember that option. Last edited by jdp29 on Dec 7, 2023, 12:58:19 AM

i think i know what OP is talking about.
skill gems can have prefix and suffix. Venomancer's Heavystrike of Gale something like that. i m pretty sure GGG intends to add something like that seeing they already have suffixes but as it is, the "crafting" is done via lab. [Removed by Support]
