...because I'm terrible at this game and hate the fact that others are better than me.

BUT you are not wrong it Means Nothing.... Some ppl just do this to inflate their oversized egos.... and they dont have anything better going in their lifes.

Load up Elite Dangerous and scan some faraway planets if you want your internet name recorded on some servers forever somewhere. Also No Man's Sky to diversify your world firsts.
