I can't believe this was thought to be a good idea. It's directly making the game experience worse. I love the effort put into the sound in poe, ggg has an extremely talented sound department, and it disappoints me that I have to resort to muting my game audio until I get to maps. You miss out on so much amazing feedback.
Seriously. It's obnoxious that I have to listen to it because someone else spent money. It's immersion breaking, and it's frustrating to have to be subjected to it. I'm tired of listening to it, I'm tired of people who act disingenuously and spam it in high traffic areas of towns because it pisses other players off. I'm muting my game audio until I get to maps from now on, and I will continue to do so until they figure this out. I seriously hope ggg consider making mtx like this only audible to the person who owns it. The fact that you can spend money to deliberately bother people is absurd. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish. |

Adding to this; I think having the ability to turn off all MTX would also be beneficial to some players. I get it, people spent money (as did I), and want to show it off. But the players with old computers are suffering in high density areas not only because of the lack of optimization of the game, but also because the INSANE amount of MTX that goes on to skills/apparitions/pets etc. MTX: Show/Hide feature MTX Sounds: Show/hide feature Just my two cents. "I care naught for riches, little for friendship. The duel is all I need. I may be an exile, but I will carve a road back to Oriath, one foe, one victory at a time. Ill fortune may have banished me to Wraeclast, but I will live to hear them scream my name in the great arenas again"

+1 Not only the troupe but a MTX sounds bar in the sound menu will be great. THeres other pets and mtx dat repeat the sound until u get in nerves.
