Can't access epilogue after Kitava kill

I ported out to town for a trade when Kitava died and now there is no way to access the epilogue. If i am in the arena where Kitave died it says that the way to the epilogue is now open, but no portal appears. If i am in town the quest says: kill kitave. please help

Have you tried resetting the zone and killing Kitava again?

Thank you, that worked. The portal in the arena still did not show but the follow up quest did and i could travel to the epilogue
