Convocation on items doenst work with automation

Dear dev team,

The new convocation affix on a shield isnt affected if I socket automation into it. IMO this seems backwards because

1.: you specificially added the mod on shields to relief socket pressure. Then you've made a change that is supposed to automate all instant skills.
2.: Convocation IS affected by cwdt if socketed into it.

So why does automation not apply if the instant skills (convocation) is generated by the affix on the item?

This still hasn't been changed, was this an april fools joke? I'd really enjoy being able to automate convocate :(
