Can't re-enter cold river map

Able to enter thorugh first portal. Subsequent re-entry attempts return player to the title screen. Exclusively happens on cold river, nowhere else so far.

It must be the old bug that placing the portal before the boss arena, that the area became inaccessible once entered the arena?
