SRS Ignite/Poison - basic questions I'm so new to minions. lol

HI All, I've never played SRS before, hell i've never played any minion build basically.


Can SRS ignite targets using "Chance to ignite" on the passive tree? Can it even ignite at all? Maybe with critical strike?

How about poison, will SRS poison enemies with "Chance to poison with spells/Serpentine spellslinger?


In general do minions benefit from the passive nodes that don't specifically say "minion" on them.... like if my minion is dealing physical damage would they also get 10% extra Chaos dmg if I had the Force shaper node?

Has to specify minion for it to apply to minions. Just getting chance to ignite or chance to poison doesn't apply to minions.

That being said, srs can ignite / poison if you get the stuff to support this. Ignite on them isn't that strong though.

do not bother with ignite.. yes it might be as good as poison per instence but it does not stack
