Sound Device Option Broken After Update

I can no longer change the game sound device in game to anything other than the one used by windows.

If i change the device there is no option to save and it doesn't take effect.

if i change the device in windows it will then use it, but for a long time i have had it set and it will use that setting regardless of what i have set in windows.

For context i have multiple devices which i change if i am using the TV or sat at my desk and sometimes use both sound devices if i want to use dual screen and multiple sound devices.

I've also been running into this issue.

The game will launch with the Default Sound Device selected, as set in Windows, and output sound to that device.

Changing the sound device to the previously saved setting will show a greyed out save button for options; it still recognizes it as the saved option. Changing a different option and saving will not change the application to output sounds to the saved sound device, because it sees this as 'no change'.

The way to get sound to output to the correct device again is to change the selected sound device to the saved setting, then set it back to the Default Sound Device (which will now enable the Save button), save that setting, then switch to the preferred sound device and save again.

But, this is a hassle to do every time we open the application.

not sure what is causing this.
I got elgato wavelink installed, which is creating several audio devices.

production_Config.ini holds the correct device, but after restarting it is still reverting to the first device in the list.

The config entry should be "audio_device_id=Wave Link Game (Elgato Wave:XLR)"

not sure if poe.exe can handle colons in device names.
