POE helped me quit drinking

I’m 3 years sober from alcohol and POE really helped me in the initial stages of quitting. Getting to level 100 was the excuse I made to stay sober since I didn’t want to risk dying after having had too much to drink. Instead of going to rehab I just played POE nonstop. Then I switched to hardcore eventually, which I don’t think I could have managed if I was still drinking. It makes you too sloppy and causes mistakes. Sobriety made me a way better player, and POE itself was instrumental in helping me quit. Thank you for making the game so hard that you need to be sober to play it.

Epic.

Gaming is underrated in western countries as "damage control" system in a twisted world with no rigid morale laws and beliefs.

Asian easterns have a better understanding of this. Anything that helps the mind to stop lurking is essentially GOOD.

Grats man. Keep it up. Addicted to PoE is the best addiction.
Nice, grats.

I've built my training routine around PoE, and have a firm routine before and after play sessions, at least during the first weeks of a league. Still pushing personal records in most exercises. 120kg on the bench just the other day.

See? Gaming is making both of us healthy :P
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
get off the wagon and back on the horse.
