Item filter problem - game making strange folders

I am having an issue with the game where I am trying to play with an item filter. I want to use the auto-update neversink filters that I have used for multiple leagues now. however, when i go to select them in the game, it comes up with these strange paths and chinese characters.

The game keeps making piles of folders with strange character names. When I click on the folder to try to point it in a better direction, it doesn't seem to make a difference.

As far as I know, these should be the online filters that are not saved on my pc at all. I even tried doing a new one from filterblade with an upload to the poe website. It comes back with the same errors.

The game creates dozens of folders with odd looking characters each time I open it. If I delete them out, it just makes new ones.

I tried a clean install, hoping that this would fix the problem and it did not.

When I try to go in-game to the item filter section of the options, it doesn't show the download that I made.

Hey folks,

I just ran into this issue myself after removing OneDrive.

For some reason the game still points to the OneDrive installation.

If you click Documents and it errors on your Windows 10/11 profile saying it doesn't have the Documents folder go to your c:/users/USER-NAME and create a folder for "OneDrive" and another for "Documents".

It cleared it up for me.

Windows symlinks amiright?
