Ore smelted without a smelter worker

Well, as it says, I was saving "Petrified Amber Ore" for the update of the camp, but when I returned to Kingsmach, almost all my Amber Ore was smelted.
I had no smelter for that ore, I removed them specifically for that. So, why that happened? I had only 2 smelter workers for Orichalcum and Crimson Ore. I had ton of if and now I have ton of ingots that I don't need because I needed the ore for the update ot the stations. Last bumped on Jul 31, 2024, 5:23:45 PM

Workers assigned to smelt a particular ore will smelt other ores when they're out of their assigned ore.

Well that's just dumb. This should be removed or at least allow us to upgrade with ingots.

" +1 im stuck and unable to upgrade buildings because they specifically need ore. I play for an hour, get it marked and wait for it to be mined, by the time I come back it's already bars. So i play for another hour and get more marked and wait for it to be mined, by the time I come back it's already bars. Stuck in this infinite loop, i'll have a million bars by the time i can co-ordinate with the miners to get enough ore to stay ore so that i can upgrade buildings. | |
