Portal to rescue the crew disappeared as i clicked it

So my ship got attacked by pirates, and i chose to rescue. The portal appeared and as soon as i clicked to enter it disappeared with the following message:

Also happened to me, my best sailors and a huge shipment all due for deletion for no good reason. Tilted me out of league already.

Wanted to add in another note that it happened to me as well. Not sure if it is relevant, but I had been afk in Kingsmarch for quite a while before trying to rescue them.

That AFK time might be the essense of this whole situation as i assume they are kinda like maps portals so 8-15 min.

This was fixed a few hours ago. Worked fine for me after the patch.

Happened to me on while on an alt character with Mappers level 9+, I "missclicked" and switched to my main character, but the portal was gone then. So now that the portal is gone, I lost ALL MAPPERS? If Kingsmarch is shared between characters, you should be able to keep the portal if you switched characters, or even let the "Rescue" option still available.
And now that I seemingly accumulated the gold to ransom, it's still grey, wtf... Btw that was my first time "trying" to rescue mappers.  Last edited by Yokami#7689 on Jan 24, 2025, 5:00:06 AM
