Currency Exchange -- need some help

I'm a bit confused about the currency exchange. I tried testing it today on something I didn't care much about.

I put in 600 juice for 10C (whatever the ratio is), it said, order complete. However, it had removed the juice from my stash and I can't claim the C or remove the items. Its just stuck. I feel like I'm doing something incorrect here, but I'm not sure what. I did a google search, etc. I did a few more tests. It happens everytime.

I did C for Chromes, same thing. Order complete. Empty on the selling side (myself).

I tried reloading, logging, etc. Faustus in my hideout shows no icon over his head. The one in kingsmarch does...

I'm proabably stupid and not doing this right so if a kind soul could help a brother out. I would be grateful.

The currency exchange is a GREAT idea, but I fear the gold cost will deter people greatly.

I'll be honest, I still use third-party because why waste gold? Dumb idea...

Good thing; it works offline!
This morning I made some trade requests far above the current trade ratio (according to the ggg. trade site), went shopping, etc. came back 3 hours later and they were all realized !?
I got about 1 div more than if I had exchanged the currency before going offline.
Ok I understand that many people are making mistakes in the settings now... everything takes experience.

I recommend everyone to check the prices on the poe.trade site before trading in this way (watch out for trade fixers)
