Can't play League because I can't load into towns [EU]

Quick specs:
Asus TUF gaming laptop with Ryzen 7 GTX 3060 16 GB RAM Used Vulkan for most of my playthrough, but decided to return to DirectX 11 after the problems in the Sarn Ramparts outlined below. Windowed Fullscreen. Still progressing the campaign, just took care of Doedre in Act 8 Usual FPS in areas: 140+ Usual FPS in towns: ~60, dips when supporters in mtx gear are present or when Minions do their thing. Maybe it's just the Minions. Inconclusive evidence. Some dips as I entered the Sarn Ramparts last night (I began monitoring at that point, dips often had a spike in the GPU), but quickly returned to normal. Nothing out of the ordinary in the Cruel Labyrinth, nothing out of town going towards Doedre. Sold my loot real quick, moved on to The Grand Promenade. Had to return to the Sarn Encampment for what I thought would be a quick thing. I was unable to load in and the loading screen just stayed there with music playing. Can't even tab out or use the taskmanager to forcibly close the game, loading screen always in the foreground. Manually turn off my laptop, try again, same result, decide to go to sleep. Today I try again a few times, same result, decide to test other games and characters. Games worked fine, and Standard Characters did too (didn't want to risk the game crashing again). Do create a new Standard Character that got into Lioneye's Watch without problems. The League character was not so lucky. Already ran the PackChecker and even deleted the cache in case that was causing problems before trying out different characters. It's really just specific to the towns in the Settlers of Kalgurr League. Last bumped on Jul 29, 2024, 8:04:25 PM

Update:
After failing to log in with a test SSF Settlers character and one more with the previous test Settlers Trade character, I was finally able to get in. Still varying FPS in town though. Update 2: FPS spiked in the Shader area during a Red Iron Ore encounter and the game has crashed as the mining crew opened their portal. Last edited by Nestrior on Jul 29, 2024, 9:28:10 AM

" Hello, I have a similar issue where randomly my game would crash in a loading screen... like my entire pc just freezes and I have to manually shut down my pc via the power button and start it again. It happens randomly not exactly in a specific location, but the loading screens freeze my entire pc. |
