Hexblast

Almost every top build on poe.ninja is just hexblast for this current league.
Back then there was some tornado shot, barrage, boneshatter, ice trap.
Now it's just hexblast mines.

Seriously is. Everyone in meta is using Hexblast. Great balance on this one. So much for a "melee" league. Screwed totems but not mines/traps.

When will cast speed be buffed enough to actually compete with traps/mines?

I'd like to chip in on this one but not really about its heavy usage

Its because i think its unbelievable they "reworked" it then added an immense cast time to offset the damage it gave it. They may as well have made it a mine skill I really don't understand this type of change, has anyone played actual self cast hexblast since its changes?

Put simply it is a design choice I cannot explain, they gave it numbers that made it all but unusable by anything outside of a proxy but then also made the numbers broken for a proxy.

Like lets be real here guys if we could have a spell that took 5s to cast but had 4000% effectiveness we'd gobble that up straight away too knowing we never had any intention of using that cast time.

tldr - should never have reworked hexblast with current numbers
I just dont understand what are they doing. Why not make all skills equally op, so we can play them all if we want
