3.25 Flicker, experiencing "phantom" attacks and no mana.

I've been playing flicker for a while now and I've made it to red maps. I have been following Magefist's guide this league almost to the T. I am having issues maintaining my mana and experiencing what I have been calling "Phantom" hits. I flick to the targets (while im holding flicker attack) the attack goes off, I spend mana and their HP doesn't move. I can clearly see the animations and my mana going down but nothing is happening. I've tried it on white maps, no mods, no enemy mods.
