Game crashes almost instantly when I open it (NO ERROR)

Hello,

I wanted to play this league cause I see the feedbacks are amazing. Sadly, I am experiencing weird crashes that happens almost instantly (before i can click on login button). This is something new, I played during crucible without any issue, same for lot of leagues before. It is not consistent, so far i either crash during the animation of GGG logo (dozen of time), or on the menu screen before i can click on everything (hundred of times), or when trying to load a character (around 5 times), or when trying to load my very first map aka first city (1 time). I tried absolutely EVERYTHING I could find, ie :

- I even did a reset of my PC, and with only updated driver, Windows 11, Steam and POE on the PC, it crashes the exact same way.

Operating System - Windows 11 Famille 64-bit
CPU - Intel Core i7 13700KF
RAM - 32,0 Go Dual-Channel DDR4 @ 1197MHz (15-15-15-35)

sry for you, but I can tell you I have the same problem since the newest patch today. Got no answer until now and made a post like you, too.

It crashes between 20-40 seconds in my case. Sometimes in login screen, sometimes in town, sometimes in hideout, etc. It rly looks like the same problem, but in my case it CRASHES my WHOLE system and I have to use reset and power button on my pc to get it running again - its terrible.

I played the last few days without any problems and even today before the patch I was online for about 30 minutes, but now its just dead.

I hope for both of us GGG will read one of our posts and find a solution.

Yeah, I reached Act 6 on Ruthless and encountered the fact that when a bismuth appears on the map, the game crashes as soon as I approach the visibility zone.

My PC instantly reboots when I get to the login screen.
I was playing just fine days before the patch, testing stuff.

I was totally convinced I was having hardware failure. I have never really had issues with PoE in the past.
Ran every test imaginable and even wiped my drives and fresh installed windows trying to figure out what hardware needs replacing.

Its kinda strange. I tweak some settings in production_Config.ini. Set everything as low as I can, 600x400, fullscreen, DX11/DX12/Vulkan, and eventually it lets me get past the login screen. But it feels random.

But when I do get in I proceed to put all the settings back to max and everything is fine. I can even exit the game and get back on without problems.
But as soon as I go to play the next day, it happens all over again. This is the 3rd day and here I am with the same problem, tweaking settings trying to figure out what works.
I guess letting my PC go into sleep over night undoes whatever it was that fixed it.


I'm starting to get irritated. My friends are playing the league and i'm just watching my PC reboot for the 100th time.

I just posted the "log file lines with FAILURE" in my post, maybe you could check if you have the same "FAILURE LINES" in your log file !?

underclock your cpu on performance, down to x52

I've had this issue too since mid last league and I think it may have been fixed by changing the performance core clock multiplier down from 55x to 54x. I haven't crashed since yesterday morning since making this change.

Same problem bro. New patch make my PC restart when i open logbook xD.
