General's cry + autoexertion interaction

Hi, is it normal that the Mirage Warriors summoned by general's cry disappear before perform the attack if the cooldown Is low enought? I tried with many skills and the only one that seems to work Is consecrated Path due to the fast auto aiming. I really hope that this is not intended since It really limit the usable skills
