I am not producing Orichalcum Ore even though I have all my workers set to produce it what bug is that?

It's not a bug, obviously you have to play the game and make progress....

To clarify, you need to find ores out in the world and mark them for mining. Once marked, your miners can then mine the ores.

Farming makes produce out of nothing in exchange for gold, but mining doesn't make ore appear from nothing - you have to find an ore deposit first.
