Bone Nova

hello! So I want to make a build using Uul-Netol's Embrace's skill "Bone Nova" , but I couldn't find detailed explanations about how the skill works.(Besides what we have on the wiki)

I know so far that: - despite the fact that bones explode around the enemy they still damage the unit they were procced from. (for single target purposes)
- for some reason returning proj. doesen't work for single target. (it passes through without dealing DMG)

Does anyone else know any other notable observations? ex(if prjoectiles pierce by deafaul, because they seem to me, but idk.)

Any oficialy stated information or tested experience helps a lot.
