"final boss drops 3 additional divine orbs" eldrtich altar mod drops no divines when i killed boss

hello, i got the altar mod that says final boss drops 3 additional divine orbs, but when i killede the map boss, none dropped. anyone else experienced this? a couple of options i can see is that it bugged out since i entered an abyssal depts, or it might be because i play gladiator and the boss "popped"?!?
anyone has any ideas?

I think it currently bugged with phasing bosses. Was it sepulcher boss by any chance? Or one that changes forms?

yeah it was sepulcher map, so thats the problem then, rip my 3 div
