GGG canned many leagues, many did nothing, and also many were not funny, or added nothing valuable to the game. even the few that went core then got removed cause they simply were not fun.

one thing t̶h̶e̶y̶ WE did right was to demand an Auction house. we did so since many years ago (torment league in my case). Well, now we (almost have it) not in its full glory, not like we asked before, but still better than nothing, and It's the best change POE got since its creation.

Many of my friends that I convinced to try the game over a decade all left after 1 or 2 leagues at most.. it did not have to be this way... GGG NEEDS to listen to the player base, the only reason we got it is that POE 2 is about to go live and so they finally gave it to us, but they are way too afraid to take """"risks"""". this game is already complicated enough, there is no need for extra friction.



now please let us not only trade items but also in BULK. I don't want to rely on QUESTIONABLE/THIRD-PARTY discord servers to trade in bulk. I want to be able to list a quad tab for 2 divines and if you buy it you get all it's contents, or list my div stash tab...

and maybe also adjust gold requirements to trade, as having to clear an entire T16 map to list 1 offer (sometimes not even that) is a bit too much... maybe out of the 10 trade slots you have 5 are free and you don't pay gold to trade with them and the other 5 cost gold...

People have been demanding an AH since 2010, people will still be demanding an auction hose after the league ends.
The thing is, it's a test (they have said as much) if GGG feel that it is causing issues or requires more work it could be removed until they "fix it" or replaced entirely in the future.

Ive yet to see all the posters who proclaimed, with absolute certainty, that any trade automation whatsoever would destroy PoE and make it an unrecognizable hellhole, post and admit they were wrong. And there were a lot.

It's not even confirmed to go core yet as it's nothing but a testing ground for such feature and gold. Likely a concept testing for just PoE2 in the end lol

GGG also did it in the correct way with the decent gold fee, cause without people could actually just flip and instant buy everything they want right away. Them having to collect the needed gold and the limit does help the entire flipping and stock buyout of all those hideout warriors.
Gold fee could actually be even a bit higher as it's so easy to get insane amounts once you got your place all maxed out and run juiced t16 or t17 maps for 300-700k gold per hour depending on how fast you are.

I am done with the League, it was great!
I geared up nicely, farmed T17, dropped HH for the first time... :)

When I lost interest to keep gearing, I wanted to finish with a bang and kill all of Uber-Bosses. Most of them I've never even seen before.
I killed some, smooth ride. But, after failing Uber Eater I realised: despite thousands of chaos and a dozen of divines in my stash, I won't try again — I just don't want to whisper people for parts again. So I didn't.

I will get those bosses next time :)
Until then, dear developers, please add Uber fragments into currency exchange system.

i would agree we have not got what we wanted YET, as its still not in core.

but i would still celebrate this mini victory. GGG actually doing something different with trade after a decade is still a reason to celebrate.

especially for those who have been asking for the longest time.

i see the current implementation as a total win and yeah the implementation of gold is good.

undecember does something similar where you need a special currency to trade.

if i were to shake my fists, i would shake it at the people who see absolutely nothing wrong with all the trading scams that happen in POE. "it's the player fault for not being diligent/checking properly".

what an elitest mindset. getting trade scammed is a good way to make players ragequit

And technically you STILL don't have one. Where's the unique rarity item trades?
