Guild stash - Only scrolls are transferring, no other currencies

I finally talked my friends into playing PoE and they are loving this game / league! SoK is an amazing addition to the game.

In my excitement, I started a guild for us and invested in two guild stash tabs (to start): a Premium tab and a Currency tab. Now that we have a shared stash within a game we all seem to enjoy playing together, what could go wrong?


The thing that went wrong

The problem started with the Currency tab not allowing us to place any Orbs of Transmutation in said tab. A pop-up displayed the following:

Your stash tab with the Currency Affinity does not have enough space for this item.

However...

there's nothing in this brand-new Guild currency tab atm other than the 6 Portal Scrolls we just deposited using the same Stash command (X on my controller when hovering over an item in my inventory, and yes, I still use my Xbox controller 'cuz we don't have WASD yet).

I then tried a combination of removing, re-adding, and completely removing all affinity settings and proceed manually pickup (Y) and place (A) the orbs into both the Currency tab and Premium tab; the guild stash did / does not accept any transfer of currency items, other than scrolls.

What's stranger is that when we quick deposit (X) Wisdom or Portal scrolls into the stash, they properly auto-filter into the Currency tab with zero hiccups. No combination of on-or-off affinity settings seems to allow us to deposit currencies other than scrolls.

All that to say, I have no clue what's going on with my newly purchased guild stash...


Where I pretend to be a humble guy

I'm sure there's something I'm missing as this is my first time running a guild stash. Combined with the fact that I'm fairly new to PoE on PC (used to play on XBSX before recently building my first gaming computer) means there is the possibility I'm missing something.

With that said, after viewing many posts and looking up videos, I have yet to find a fix. This leads me to believe that there's a likelihood of this being a bug. But my mind remains open.

Things I tried...

* Affinity setting are correctly checked
* I have the correct permissions to view, add, and remove within the stash
* I googled past PoE forum posts but most bug reports are 3-4 years old with no clear solution or mention of this specific currency item problem
* I submitted a help forum post on PoE's Steam community board but have not get any responses from the Steam community
* I tried to remove and/or switch affinity setting in each tab
* I can successfully move these orbs between my own inventory and my own personal stash
* All our gear and gem-related items have been transferring within the Premium tab without the "no room" notification popping up
* Tried progressing further into the story, I've guided my friends into the middle of Act 2 as of this post
* I even tried turning it off and back on again

I assume this is in-league as you mentioned SoK, but have you tried making a character in Standard and depositing non-scroll currency there?

Doesn't help your in-league bug, but might help GGG narrow does a resolution if it's specific to your currency tab in-league. I would also include a bug report number.

You mentioned playing with your friends into Act 2.

Is the character you are trying to deposit the currency with at least level 25? It sounds like it might possibly be a trade limitation (which normally affects trading currency and uniques). You could test if this trade limitation was being applied by trying to place a unique in the guild stash.

My guild doesn't have a currency tab to test and I can't say that I am certain of precisely how GGG will apply trade limitations for the gstash, based on the characters you have in the current league vs. your overall account. I was limited on an alt account that did not play often when starting a new character in a fresh league.

2. I tried loading up a new character in Standard:

This brings up a brand-new pop-up/warning notification about having to be level 25.

This is a message I have never received or seen with my in-league Witch character. (My character is currently level 24, so I may try to level up really quickly and report back on if the level cap is the problem, even though no notifications of a level cap were presented to me in-season.

I wonder if the warning is considered a tutorial and you had possibly disabled tutorials in the challenge league.

My alt that was restricted did not receive the warning, either, but I had presumably disabled them on the beach when starting the character.

THIS

I made everyone get to level 25 and now we can transfer all currency items into the Guild Stash without a hitch.

So, a gameplay bug was not the problem, but a messaging / alert bug not clearly telling us why we could not transfer specific items into our Guild Stash.

Thank you and I hope the PoE team can switch the alerts.

Tested this and an alternate alert popped up telling me about a level 25 cap on transferring specific items (including currencies.)

After looking at other replies to my post, the level-cap was the thing restricting our guild from transferring currency items into the Guild Stash, even though there was no (0) on-screen indication of said level-cap.

Hence, a notification mix up/bug was confusing us, not an actual gameplay mechanics bug.
