Power Siphon Mines Trickster - upgrade questions for defeating ubers
I have a - for my usual standard - quite strong power siphon mines trickster, with which I did most challenges. For my first time I tried myself against some ubers, I defeated Cortex, Shaper and Elder were close (I need to get better at consistently dodging Shaper slam), Maven I got the first forth and back, Eater and Exarch just killed me (I think I need to have more defences against Eaters laser cannon (is it chaos damage, partially?), and I think Exarch, I'm ok with not killing, his balls are too much^^).
I have a 50div budget currently (it could be a bit more if I started to sell more stuff), but I'm having a hard time finding "the best" way to upgrade my character, and I'm curious for suggestions. Currently this is my setup: https://pobb.in/Q8lwkPCN6n74 Some of my thoughts: 1. I think I should use a different belt and not Ynda's stance - even though I liked the extra ward when in the beginning a shipment returned it, I could get additional chaos resistance here, make changes in other slots easier, and I could change my ward flask, even though I liked the idea with the savage hit. I assume that getting an amulet with evasion for the increased ES recharge rate would make things feel more smooth, too, at points. 2. One thing I could do is to get rid of the mark passives and whispers of doom, to get two more jewel slots, as well as two more maximum frenzy charges, and with the jewels buy forbidden flesh and flame for born in the shadows, for the reduced damage taken, increased evade chance, but also to help my accuracy needs. I'm not so sure, whether this is really worth it, the dual curse setup with Mark the Prey doesn't seem too much worse. Also I would lose the reduced damage from crits. 3. Where I'm really uncertain is about going Marylene's Fallacy: I already bought a relatively good wand base a "95% inc spell damage" fractured prophecy wand, to be able to still sit at 100% crit chance (a first craft with it sits in my off hand right now), but my crit multi already is really high, and I would lose quite some defences from the current amulet. If someone has fun with looking at builds and suggesting stuff, it would be very appreciated. I think I can forget tanking Shaper with this, but most of the fights I feel with a little more damage and general survivability (or practice - maybe I should just spend the currency on fragments^^) I could win. For me, though, I don't see any obvious "oh, put 10 divs into this item, and you will do 25% more damage" things, or anything like this. It looks like you're trying to upgrade random stuff because you don't know where to go build-wise.
Jungroan, the creator of the leaguestarter version, made a video specifically for this case to give players more direction if they decide to go past league start with the build. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAAXqqN6WtA I'd recommend going down the Intstacking road as the entry items are fairly cheap right now but the other options are just as good unless you're planning to invest excessive amounts of currency. |

" Yes, exactly how I feel.[/quote] " Perfect, thanks, I wasn't aware of this specific video (I with his league starter video, but I never stumbled accross the other one later). After starting to watch it now, I'm pretty certain I will find stuff to do. Thanks a lot :) Last edited by artjvaer on Sep 12, 2024, 12:17:12 AM

:D I didn't go the int stacker route, because I didn't want to have to replace 90% of my stuff, but it had enough upgrade ideas in, still. Shaper, Eater and Elder where all more or less close, but I got them all first try after those. Also the T17 bosses on 250 quant were easy, suddenly. :) Now only Oak is left to get a beating, a couple of times...^^ Thanks, hint worked! Last edited by artjvaer on Sep 13, 2024, 1:39:16 PM
