Peak POE is unplayable.
I don't really know what else there is to say. I am on a 5900x with a 3080ti, I shouldn't have to downscale to almost unplayable to run a super juiced t17 map. The lag gets so bad that you really can't see anything and hope you can use a movement skill enough times to get out of the bad stuff you are standing in. I have tried on 2 different computers, the other one same config just with a 2070ti with water cooling. I have toned down all of the settings to be the minimum requirements. I have tried both kind of network configurations. I have done everything in my power to make it suck less, and all I am getting is death after death because the screen turns into a blur and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get key presses in time, or to even see what is below you. The game literally becomes a low res fireworks show, and it is very disappointing.
How does this pass play testing? How is GGG looking at this and saying "Yea, this is good." Do we have anything on the horizon to fix the terrible lag that is caused by super juicing maps? Anyone have any idea how to resolve this, or is something like this the best I can hope for? https://old.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/1fdfgio/this_is_peak_poe/ Last bumped on Sep 12, 2024, 2:26:04 PM

I don't know what you expected. Slide show is the thing even with 4090 and i9-14900.
What are you missing is that a lot of people(based on download numbers) using some no-no tools which disable effects to make it playable which is of course ToS breaking and nobody should do that. " Path of Exile 2 actually On Probation Any% Last edited by Dxt44 on Sep 12, 2024, 1:17:10 PM

" I was looking at poe nullifier, but wasn't sure it was worth the ban, so I uninstalled instead. If that is really the only recourse, I think it is time for me to just wait until poe2. | |
