Does increased physical damage or global increase bleed damage?
So I played a bleed glad mostly earthquake this league. Can't find info on this anywhere. The game is misleading and lies and then I look at poe.ninja at level 100's see what other people are using and they have no clue what they are doing either.
Rage does not increase damage I was told for bleeds. I was told mele and physical damage does not increase bleed dps. Even though when I look at my skill in game dps increases. So the game lies. Passives have like 30% increased physical damage then 30% damage with ailments. I always thought this double dipped. Read it does not double dip. I get thrown off by looking at other characters. For example I see allot of people on poe.ninja using the light of meaning jewel with 6% physical damage. But this does not work for bleeds. So everyone has no idea what they are doing. " Rage increases attack damage. Damage over time is not attack damage. I think you're confused here--physical damage does increase bleed damage, because bleeds deal physical damage. Melee physical damage does not increase bleed damage, because bleed damage is not melee damage. If you're looking at the damage on the skill's tooltip, that only shows hit dps. For bleed dps, you have to open the character sheet, select your attack skill, and scroll to the bottom of the Offence tab to see the lines "Bleeding Damage per second from Main Hand hits" and variations (from crits and from off hand, if dual wielding). " I assume you mean passives that have "increased damage with weapon" then "weapon attacks have increased ailment damage"? "Increased damage with weapon" implies using the weapon to attack, and thus attack damage. so inc physical damage modifiers work for bleed |
