Cannot play the game past title screen

Just got back into PoE recently in the past few days and I kept freezing on the loading screen after selecting a character and trying to load into town, I would have to close the game and try it a few times and it would end up working for a bit, I would play for 30 minutes to an hour and then the game would freeze again upon trying to teleport back to town. This was with a clean installation of the standalone launcher. Sifting through the log file, these are the errors I could find:
[JOB] Irrecoverable Exception Callback: SET (lists my system info) Failed to install font 'Art/2DArt/Fonts/DFPT_B5_POE.ttf' (DFPHeiMedium-B5-POE), Exception: File not found: Art/2DArt/Fonts/DFPT_B5_POE.ttf So today I uninstalled the standalone, deleted all local files from my documents and appdata, updated graphics drivers and installed through steam instead and now I can't even get into town after multiple tries anymore like before. Same errors as before with the standalone launcher. I've tried changing renderer to dx12 and vulkan, lowering all graphics settings to minimum, changing the server, trying other characters, all the same result; it freezes on the load screen after selecting a character. Validating files through the steam library page says all files validated. Any help would be appreciated. I have played multiple characters to level 70+ in the past on this same PC. I'm also having the same issue,
" I also have check the "Art/2DArt" directory, it seems that the whole fonts directory is missing. so i delete the "Art/2DArt" and do file integrity check with steam, after download complete the Font folder still missing. |

It's not game. I saw the same issue but on Wine.
