Explain to me why they made this ring (Triumvirate Authority Unset Ring)

Explain to me why they made this ring.

I tested the ring that has the most powerful property.
‘Socketed Vaal Skills deal 150% more Damage.’

And there were other properties on it.


But the regular 6L does a lot more damage.

Tell me - where can I use this ring so that it would be more favourable than other means.

Most the builds I see using it on database look like aura bots, socketing an aura gem.

I think it can also be used for damage, but maybe not as the main skill. Possibly for clearing, or supplementing damage on top of a 6-link main skill. Your getting more damage on your vaal skill and its not really costing anything. Maybe can then get an extra level on your main skill, because it is not vaal, or use a vaal skill that is different from your main skill, but doesn't have to be 6-linked. I don't think it's getting used all that much currently.
