Do Uber Lab Trials still exist?
I've come back after about 4 years away. After getting past league start, I've probably done something like 50 maps, and I've yet to see a single Uber Lab trial in them. I have several passive Atlas points (that's a new thing) that are supposed to increase their chances, but nothing yet.
I assume that since the mechanic is in the Atlas passive tree that it still exists, but... is it really now that rare to see them? I remember in the past it might take 50 maps to see all six of them, but to see *none* is striking to me. What's the chance of seeing them? Last bumped on Sep 25, 2024, 8:48:28 PM

yes they exist but you dont need to do them. you just need 1 offering to enter uber lab. you can buy it if you dont want to hunt for trials.

What maps do you run? Uber Lab trials can only be found in T6+ maps.

" OK that's quite the change then. | |
You must be returning from the old school. That's been changed for some time now.
(4 years sounds about right, probably changed shortly after you left. I remember it sometimes taking a lot of maps to find the 6th, if RNG wasn't on your side. Which is why they changed it I think. I still think they could do something with it, like a middle ground. Around the time of the change I remember people suggesting an entropy system. It's strange to me that they still have the 6 trials, even though you don't need to find them all. Maybe there is a purpose that I'm unaware of. Apparently 3.16, October 2021. Not as long as I though, three years, feels like longer.) Last edited by Belegur85 on Sep 25, 2024, 2:46:27 AM

How about a wildcard that can replace any one of them, but you can only use one wildcard ?

I'm sure there's something they could do. I think currently most people aren't missing it or wanting it to come back. I just don't see any purpose for there being six different trials now. I think they had a mechanic between this iteration and the old mechanic where you could continuously spawn the trials by using the offering in the map device. Not sure why that didn't take. Maybe it was just unnecessarily tedious.
