Do we need physical damage reduction for bleeds?

I see a lot of Hits have a chance to reduce physical damage reduction, but its not clear if we're supposed to do more damage with bleeds from reduced physical damage reduced hits... is it?

(I pretty much never played bleed, I don't know about physical penetration/reduction for bleeds...)

thanks

(more than 5 hours later, NO ONE knows?)
Phys damage reduction helps with Hits.
Barely with Bleeding.

Im bad at math.

Ailments deal damage based on the base hit. Modifiers like double damage / ignore physical damage reduction are irrelevant for ailment calculation

THANKS for the answer!!

So yes OP I think we do, I also think we need it on the defence side too as physical DoTs are absolutely brutal because we only have PDR as a reduction and that is quite limited, pretty much to a couple of uniques and armour bases/endurance charges.

That wasn't the question tho. ^^

From my understanding OP asked if they can scale their bleed further by speccing notables that give chance to ignore enemy PDR, which they don't. OP wasn't asking about bleeds inflicted on your character

I know but I was tacking it on as there were two ways to answer the title :D hence the yes we do as the first answer (because there aren't any and maxed endurance charge enemies are BS when your bleed)
