Eldritch mods and minions

Hi there...
I take it the general rule that states,that if any mod doesn't explicitly mentions minions,they don't apply to them, at least when it's about damage. So two questions about that:
1. Eldritch mods like "poisons you inflict deal their damage faster" don't help me at all, if only my minions deal poison, correct?
2. Mods like "X% of chaos damage leeched as life" doesn't help either, because - again - it's my minions dealing it, not me, also correct?
