Frostbite + Hextouch not working

The tooltip shows that Hextouch supports Frostbite, but I don't see the Frostbite symbol above rare enemies after the first hit. Hextouch is 2 levels higher than Frostbite. Is the symbol just not displayed or is the tooltip wrong? Or is this a bug?

You have to hit an enemy with a skill that is linked to both hextouch and frostbite. Your setup is missing a skil

Ohhh ok, I thought it worked like poachers mark + mark on hit. I just tried it with leap slam and it works. Thanks for the help.
